New York City: The City That Never Sleeps

Updated: Sep 20, 2023

Experience in New York City

New York City, the city that never sleeps, is one of the most iconic and popular tourist destinations in the world. I've had the pleasure of visiting this bustling metropolis three times, and those were experiences like no other. From the towering skyscrapers to the diverse food options, New York City has something for everyone.

My trip started with a flight from Salt Lake City to JFK airport, where I was greeted by the bustling energy of the city. After a 2-hour ride from the airport to Manhattan, I set out to explore the city, starting with the iconic Times Square. The bright lights and billboards were a sight to behold, and I spent hours walking around with my suitcase and taking in the energy of the city.

Next up, I arrived at my friend's apartment to get some rest from my firs hours walking through Manhattan.

Next day, Central Park, a massive park in the middle of Manhattan that offered a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. I walked around the park for hours, taking in the sights and sounds of the nature that was so different from what I was used to.

One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Empire State Building. The view from the top was breathtaking, and I was able to see the entire city stretched out before me. It was truly a moment that I will never forget.

My 3-times trips to New York

The food in New York City is another experience in itself. I was able to try a variety of cuisines, from street food to high-end restaurants. Some of my favorites were the bagels from Ess-a-Bagel and the pizza from Di Fara Pizza.

Another must-visit attraction in New York City is the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The museum is home to an incredible collection of art and artifacts from all over the world. I spent an entire day exploring the different exhibits and learning about the history of art. Additionally, the One World Trade Center is another must-see attraction. It's next to what's left of the Twin Towers. Looking at the twin towers holes is definitely an emotional experience.

Overall, my trip to New York City was an incredible experience. The city has so much to offer, and I barely scratched the surface of what it has to offer. I can't wait to go back several times and explore more of what this amazing city has to offer.
